CASEY RIVERS - EPK

Born 1995 in Chicago, Illinois

Favorite influences include Joni Mitchell, Taylor Swift, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Regina Spektor, Sierra Ferrell, Grateful Dead, and Billy Strings

Casey describes herself as a sensitive river girlie, country-folk musician, and storyteller. She grew up in Illinois, and has found a home in Westerly, RI. She's recorded two songs, "You'll Be Okay" and "Casey's Song" and is currently working on an album inspired by her obsession with all things water, love and the little irksome, yet nostalgic, things in life, called qualms. Her old time and effortless vocals captivate audiences, tackling heartbreak, loss, and nostalgia with an americana sound.

Rivers has played in venues such as The Knickerbocker Tap Room, High Hope Tavern, and the Pump House Music Works in Rhode Island. She and her partner, Shane Patrick, recently opened for Will Evans at the Snow Moon Festival, featuring artists including Hayley Jane and Ryan Montbleau.
